Why Renovate Your Pool
A swimming pool is more than a place to swim. It's an investment in your home and an entertainment space that brings family and friends together. An older pool with a faded liner, tired equipment or outdated controls can be brought back to life for far less than building new, and a well-planned renovation makes the pool cheaper to run and easier to care for.

- Plumbing repairs and re-plumbing for efficiency
- Step, ladder, handrail and skimmer replacement

How Our Renovation Process Works
- Contact us. We assign a renovation professional who works with you from start to finish.
- Site review. We visit your property, inspect the pool and equipment, and discuss your goals and budget. (Note: for simple liner replacements, auto cover replacements, equipment replacements, a site visit is not necessary)
- Design and plan. We consider every option and put together an overall plan for a pool that's beautiful, efficient and simple to operate.
- Installation. Our technicians complete the work, then walk you through your renovated pool and its equipment.
A Limited Number of Projects Each Season
We focus on building a personal relationship with each customer, so we accept only a limited number of major renovation projects per season. That lets us put our full expertise into your pool rather than splitting our attention across many jobs at once. If you're considering a renovation, contact us early — spots fill well before the season starts.
Service Area
Pool renovations are available throughout our pool service area, which covers the Twin Cities metro with the strongest coverage in the western and southern suburbs. Enter your ZIP code above to confirm coverage, or see the full city and ZIP code list on our Services page. Premier Pool & Spa is a locally owned company in Chanhassen, MN, and is not affiliated with any national "Premier" brand.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is the best time to schedule a pool renovation?
Summer (after July 4th) and fall are the most common windows, since the pool is already being opened or closed. Because we take a limited number of projects, contact us over the winter to secure a spot for the coming season.
Can you renovate a pool you didn't build?
Yes. Most of the pools we renovate were built by other companies.
Do you do full pool construction or resurfacing of concrete pools?
Our renovation work focuses on vinyl liner pools, equipment, automation, lighting and covers. Contact us to discuss your pool and we'll let you know whether it's a fit. We do not re-plaster or paint concrete pools.
How do I get a renovation quote?
Use the Request Service Online button above, or text or call the store. We'll schedule a site review if necessary and follow up with a written plan and estimate.
