Arctic Spa Diverter Disassembly and Reassembly
Custom Series Diverters:

Classic Series Diverters:

Core Series Diverters:

1. Turn Off Power:
-
Disconnect the power supply to the hot tub at the breaker.
2. Take off Diverter cap:
-
Carefully remove the diverter cap using your hands. On older models, there may be a Phillips screw underneath the diverter cap that will need to be unscrewed for complete removal.
-
Once the cap is removed, you will need to remove the threaded clear diverter lid to remove the gasket. Simply rotate it counterclockwise to remove.
3. Remove Old Gaskets:
-
Carefully pry out the old gaskets. Use a flat tool, if necessary, and be cautious not to damage surrounding surfaces.
4. Clean and Inspect:
-
Clean the area where the gasket was seated to remove any debris, old sealant, or residue. A clean surface is crucial for a proper seal.
-
Inspect the diverter cap, lid, and O-ring for any cracks or damage. Replace any damaged pieces. If you need to replace any pieces, you can identify the diverter assembly via the pictures above.
5. Install New Gaskets:
-
Place the new gaskets in the designated area. Ensure they fit snugly and are aligned correctly. You may apply a thin layer of silicone lubricant to help with installation and sealing.
6. Reassemble Components:
-
Reattach any panels or components you removed. Ensure all screws and bolts are tightened appropriately but do not over-tighten, as this can damage the gasket. Seat the diverter, O-rings, lid and cap.
7. Restore Power:
-
Once everything is back in place and the water is filled, restore power to the hot tub.
8. Test the System:
-
Run the hot tub and monitor for any leaks or issues. Ensure that all jets and filters are functioning correctly.
