-
Replacement salt cell compatible with your Arctic Spa Salt System
-
Phillips Screwdriver
-
Black Marker
- Dry Rag
Safety first
-
Turn off all power: Switch off the spa at the breaker or disconnect switch. Don’t rely on the control panel being off—cut power at the source. Verify power is off with the control panel or a multimeter.
-
Lockout / tagout: If others have access, make sure the breaker stays off while you work.
Preparation
1. Turn off Power to the Spa at the Breaker
2. Unscrew the housing unit from the spa (NOT the cell if the spa is filled). If the tub is filled, the cell housing needs to come all the way above the waterline. (The inside of the housing cannot get wet).
3. Locate the screw and make a small mark on the housing unit so it is easier to get back on later.
4. Unscrew the cell.
5. Take a dry rag and dab it in to make sure any steam or moisture that creeped in is dry. Make sure there is no moisture inside.Â
6. Thread the new cell into the housing, lining the screw back up with the line you marked before. Be careful not to over or under tighten the cell.
7. Push the cables back through through the back of the housing unit and screw the housing back in place.
8. Turn power back on at breaker.
