🧪 How to Use Revive!® to Clean Up Algae and Contaminants
If you’re dealing with algae or other contaminants in your pool, Revive!® can be a powerful solution. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get the best results:
1. Prepare the Pool
-
Brush the Walls:
Start by brushing the walls and floor of your pool to loosen algae and debris. -
Shock the Pool:
Add a pool shock treatment to kill algae and impurities. For optimal results, let the water circulate for at least 60 minutes. -
Turn Off the Pump/Filter System:
Switch off your pump and filter to prevent the Revive!® from being filtered out too soon.
2. Apply Revive!®
-
Attach the Hose:
Connect a standard garden hose to the Revive!® bottle. -
Spray the Pool:
Evenly spray the entire contents of the bottle across the surface of the pool. This process should take 5–7 minutes.
3. Wait and Clean
-
Let It Settle:
Allow 24–48 hours for debris to settle to the bottom of the pool. -
Vacuum to Waste:
Once settled, carefully vacuum the debris to waste (not through the filter). -
Run the Filter:
Turn your filter system back on and run it for at least 24 hours to help clear the water.
💡 Tips for Best Results
-
Heavy Contamination:
Pools with severe algae or contamination may require two or more bottles of Revive!®. -
Cold Water:
In cooler water, Revive!® may take longer to work—be patient! -
Overdose:
There’s no risk in using too much—extra product can actually improve results. -
Surface Particles:
If particles remain floating, use a garden hose to spray and break them up.
By following these steps, you’ll maximize the effectiveness of Revive!® and ensure a cleaner, clearer pool. If you encounter any issues or have questions, feel free to reach out for additional guidance.
