Pool Requirements for New Enrollment Or Re-Enrollment In Just Swim

 

🧼 Just Swim – Weekly Pool Service Includes:

• Water testing + balancing (chlorine, balancers, etc.)

• Surface skimming + interior cleaning

• Skimmer/pump basket emptying

• Vacuuming (as needed)

• Filter backwashing/cleaning

• Auto cleaner start & maintenance (Auto Cleaner Required)

• Shock treatments (cover stays open 1.5 hrs; customer closes it)

• Follow-ups included if water gets cloudy and a visit isn’t already scheduled

• Stop charges may apply for rescheduling due to:

  • Pool in use during service

  • Inaccessible yard

  • Low water

  • Malfunctioning cover or equipment

• Equipment quotes/repairs prioritized for Just Swim members

• Customer responsibilities:

  • Add water as needed

  • Notify us of high-usage days in advance

  • Maintain auto pool cleaner robot (Auto Cleaner Robot Required)

💦 Just Soak – Weekly Spa Service Includes:

• Water testing & balancing

• Surface + spa cover cleaning

• Skimmer basket cleaning

• Filter cleaning (at our store)

• Spa cover conditioning

• System operations check

• Customer responsibilities:

  • Must have 2 full sets of filters for us to clean/swap

  • Add water as needed (techs cannot do this)

  • Keep spa available & accessible

  • Cover must remain open 1.5 hrs post-shock

• Follow-ups included if needed

• Stop charges may apply for rescheduling due to:

  • Spa in use

  • Yard inaccessible

  • Low water

  • Equipment issues

✅ Program Eligibility Requirements

Premier Pool & Spa has developed the following minimum requirements to ensure our Just Swim customers enjoy a worry-free summer.
If your pool does not meet these standards, we’ll provide quotes to update your system. If upgrades are declined, the pool will not be eligible for the Just Swim program. In that case, see our Optional Alternative Programs below.

1. 🧪 Pool Type & Automation

• Sanitation Method – Pool must have either:

  • A saltwater system, or

  • A liquid chlorine feeder with Sense & Dispense automation.

  • Additional weekly chlorine charges apply if neither is present.
    
    

• Automation Systems

  • Jandy Salt System: Remote must be accessible outdoors for each visit, or customer must have iAquaLink enabled with shared login access.

  • Other Systems: Must be online and app-connected. Premier must be provided with login credentials.

2. 🧼 Filtration System Requirements

Filtration must meet the following minimums based on pool size:

• Cartridge Filters: 1 sq. ft. per 70 gallons

• Sand Filters: 1 sq. ft. per 1,000 gallons

• DE Filters: Only cartridge-style DE filters allowed (not grid-style); must provide 1 sq. ft. per 300 gallons

3. 💧 Pump Requirements

The pump must be fully operational and properly sized:

• Oversized or undersized pumps can compromise filtration

• Example: A 1.5 HP pump may be too strong for most sand filters, reducing effectiveness

4. 🧵 Plumbing System

All plumbing from suction to return headers must be 2-inch piping for optimal flow and performance.

5. 🎯 Liner Condition

• Liner must be in good condition

• Liners older than 12 years must be replaced to avoid leaks and maintenance complications

6. 💦 Leak-Free Pool

• Pools must be 100% leak-free

• Customers are allowed up to 10 bags of salt per season

• Additional salt needed due to leaks will incur charges

7. 📊 Water Chemistry

• CYA must be 50 ppm or lower at season start

• Premier will test and perform partial drain & refills as needed to reduce high CYA

• Target CYA level is 30 ppm for maximum chlorine efficiency

8. 🚪 Access Conditions

• Unobstructed access to the pool is required

• If fenced, a gate must be available

• We do not schedule services by exact time of day

9. 🛠 Exceptional Scenarios

• Larger pools (over 20x40 ft or 35,000 gallons), heavy foliage, or excessive use may require a custom quote and equipment upgrades
