Potential Issues with Spaboy Connection:
Router settings
Incorrect router settings, such as blocked ports, client isolation, multicast, UPnP, or mDNS, can prevent devices from communicating.
Network congestion
When too many devices are using the network at once, it can cause data packets to be lost, delayed, or dropped
Wireless interference
Other devices or networks can cause wireless interference, which can lead to a weak or intermittent connection.
Router age
Routers that are more than five years old may not be able to handle modern demands.
Range extenders
Poor connections between the router and the range extender can cause issues.
ISP outages
Outages in the ISP's network can cause internet issues. This can happen when the ISP is experiencing power failures, routing protocol issues, or misconfiguration in DNS or BGP.
Old hardware
Aging hardware may not be able to support modern internet speeds.
Network connectivity
Lack of internet connectivity can be caused by network congestion, lack of bandwidth, poor connection with wireless devices, and firewall issues.
Channel congestion
Every 2.4GHz network in an area will be competing for space on one of three non-overlapping channels.
To improve IoT device functionality, you can try separating them onto a separate network. This can reduce the risk of disruptions and ensure smoother communication.
