Onzen Setting for Core Arctic Spas
The Onzen settings for your Core Series Arctic Spa with 4 button topside control
We recommend the following settings and adjusting duration up/down by 1 based on your chlorine reading:
oS (Onzen Start Time) 12
od (Onzen Duration) 2
oF (Onzen Frequency) 4
To test if your Onzen cell is working, set od to 6 and oF to 4 and see if the cell bubbles. If it does, the cell is working. If your Chlorine does not raise after 24 hours, you may need to do a very heavy shock of your water or your cell may need replacement if it is over 6 months old.
To get to the program menu, hold down the light button for 5 seconds.
The setting will allow you to set the clock, change filtration cycles and set the Onzen salt system and other options.
- Press the light button for 5 seconds to get you to setting
- Then press the light button 2 more time to get pass the clock and filtration setting
- You should then see ‘oS” followed by a two-digit number that indicates the hour start time
- To change the start time press the “up/Down” button we recommend 12 [oS 12]
- Then press the light button to move on to Onzen Duration OD and change the duration (how long the Onzen will run for ) we recommend 2 [OD 2]
- Press the light button again to get to Frequency oF (how many times it will run a day) We recommend 4 [oF 4]
