This kit holds ten main burners for the burner tray of a Raypak atmospheric gas pool and spa heater. It takes the place of the single burner sold as Raypak part 301210. The burners sit side by side in slotted spacers on the tray, each one slid over its own gas orifice and held down by a bracket. A heater uses a full row of them, from 4 on a Versa 055B to 29 on an R405, so check the count for your model below to see how many kits a full set takes.

• Raypak 408A: Raypak's parts list calls for three kits on this heater, which has 27 burner orifices
• Raypak 206A, 266A, 336A and 406A (built from October 2004; the parts list also names models 266 and 399): 13 burners on the 206A, 18 on the 266A, 22 on the 336A, 27 on the 406A. A full set is two kits for a 206A or 266A and three for a 336A or 406A.
• Raypak R185B, R265B, R335B and R405B atmospheric models (2003 to 2004): 13, 19, 24 and 29 burners, so two kits for an R185B or R265B and three for an R335B or R405B. Not for the Low NOx versions.
• Raypak R185A, R265A, R335A and R405A atmospheric models (1998 to 2004): 13, 19, 24 and 29 burners, so two kits for an R185A or R265A and three for an R335A or R405A. Not for the Low NOx versions.
• Raypak R185, R265, R335 and R405 (1993 to 1998): 13, 19, 24 and 29 burners, so two kits for an R185 or R265 and three for an R335 or R405

📌 Good to know:

• Raypak's 206A to 406A manual has the burners lifted out of the slotted spacers once the burner tray is out and the hold-down bracket is off, and cleaned with a wire brush.
• If the heat exchanger has sooted badly, Raypak notes that the hold-down bracket and spacer can be distorted by the flame and usually need replacing as well.
• Taking out the burner tray means shutting off the gas and the power and disconnecting the gas line and wiring. That is work for a qualified gas technician.
