This is the combination gas valve Raypak lists for its propane (LP) pool and spa heaters with electronic ignition (IID), the type that lights the pilot automatically on each call for heat. It sits on the burner tray and feeds gas to the pilot and the main burners. Natural gas heaters take a different valve, Raypak 003900F.

📌 Good to know:

• The 206A to 406A manual gives about 10.5 in. WC as the regulated pressure at the gas valve on propane, measured with a manometer.
• That manual pictures a Honeywell VR8340 valve for the 266A to 406A and a Robertshaw 7200 for the 206A; its parts list gives this one kit number for all four sizes.
• Changing a heater from one fuel to the other takes more than a valve. Raypak lists separate conversion kits and requires a qualified agency to do the work.
• Replacing a gas valve is a job for a qualified gas technician.
