Raypak 053242B Unitherm Governor

Part # 053242B | Genuine Raypak replacement part | For 151, 153, 153A and Versa 155A heaters

This is the Unitherm Governor that Raypak's parts lists show for the 151, 153, 153A and 155A pool and spa heaters, built between 1974 and 1991. Raypak describes the governor as a thermostatic mixing valve: it regulates the water temperature inside the heat exchanger, which guards against condensation and scale. Later heaters, including the Versa 155B and 155C, take a different governor.

✅ Fits these Raypak models:

• Raypak 151, Spa-Pak and California III (1974 to December 1981)
• Raypak 153, Gemini and Spa-Pak (December 1981 to January 1984)
• Raypak 153A, Gemini and Spa-Pak (January 1984 to February 1987)
• Raypak Versa 155A, premium bronze and cast iron versions (November 1987 to October 1991)
• Not for the Versa 155B or 155C (1991 to 2006), which use Raypak 062234B
