This is the ignition control module for Raypak natural gas heaters that light the pilot automatically (intermittent ignition, or IID) rather than keeping a standing pilot. Raypak's parts library names it Kit-Elec Ign W/O Lock; the W/Lock control, 004818B, is the one the parts lists give for propane units and for RP2100 Low NOx units. Raypak lists 004817B for the 106A analog above-ground heater and for a long line of older RP2100, Versa and Spa-Pak heaters.

• Raypak parts library name: Kit-Elec Ign W/O Lock. The other control, 004818B, is Kit-Elec Ign W/Lock, and the R185A to R405A parts list calls it Ignition Control IID Lock
• For natural gas units with electronic ignition. The parts lists give 004818B for propane IID units and for RP2100 Low NOx units

📌 Good to know:

• Not used on the 156A, the digital 206A to 406A, the RP2100 R185B to R405B (built 10/2003 to 10/2004) or the 130A. Their parts lists show no ignition control of this kind (the 130A has its own direct-spark control, 011606F).
• The 106A and 156A manual's troubleshooting chart includes checking that the high-tension wire is properly connected to the ignition module.
• Gas ignition parts should be fitted and tested by a qualified service technician.
