This is the temperature sensor from the solid-state (electronic) thermostat Raypak fitted to Versa pool and spa heaters. It supplies the water temperature reading to the thermostat; the exploded views show it at the sensor well on the inlet/outlet header. Raypak's parts lists break the solid-state thermostat into a PC board, a potentiometer and this sensor, and each one can be ordered separately.

• Later Raypak heaters use different sensors: 005299B on the R185 to R405 (1993 to 1998), 006701F on the R185A to R405A, and 009577F on the R185B to R405B and the 206A to 406A.
