Raypak 006720F Unitherm Governor Plug for Polymer Headers
Part # 006720F | Genuine Raypak replacement part | For 206A to 406A, 207A to 407A, Avia and RP2100 polymer-header heaters
This plug closes the Unitherm Governor port in the polymer inlet/outlet header of Raypak gas pool and spa heaters. The Unitherm Governor, the thermostatic valve that regulates water temperature in the heat exchanger, snaps into the plug, and the plug comes out when the governor is serviced. Raypak also calls it the retainer plug; it sits next to the outlet pipe connection.

📌 Good to know:
- Raypak's governor replacement steps for polymer-header heaters: shut off water, gas and electricity and relieve pressure, drain the heat exchanger, remove this plug, unsnap the old governor from it and snap in the new one. When refitting, lubricate the gasket with a non-petroleum grease such as AquaLube.
- Raypak lists the plug O-ring gasket under its own number (800365 in the 206A to 406A repair guide). Its documents do not say whether this kit includes one.
