Raypak 006721F Heat Exchanger Drain Plug for Polymer Headers, 206A-406A, 207A-407A, 106A and 156A Heaters

Raypak 006721F Heat Exchanger Drain Plug for Polymer Headers

Part # 006721F | Genuine Raypak replacement part | For 206A to 406A, 207A to 407A, 106A, 156A and RP2100 heaters with polymer headers

Raypak's newest 206A to 406A manual lists drain plug kit 100-10008775 in place of this one. That kit has a gray plug with its O-ring; 006721F is the black plug with its O-ring. See the Raypak 100-10008775 drain plug kit.

This is the drain plug for the polymer water headers on Raypak gas heaters. It is the plug Raypak's winterizing instructions have you open to let the water out of the heat exchanger before freezing weather. On the 206A to 406A and 207A to 407A it is in the return header; on the 106A and 156A it is under the water connections on the in/out header.

✅ Fits these Raypak models:

• Raypak 206A, 266A, 336A and 406A heaters with polymer headers (see the note on the newest manual)
• Raypak 207A, 267A, 337A and 407A Low NOx heaters with polymer headers
• Raypak 106A and 156A above-ground pool heaters
• Raypak RP2100 R185A to R405A and R185B to R405B with polymer headers (built 11/1998 to 10/2004)
• Raypak 130A (built 10/2005 to 4/2013)
• Raypak Avia 264A and 404A, per the Avia tool box guide of 2023 and manual of 2024

🔧 Details:

• Raypak's winterizing figures for the 206A to 406A and 207A to 407A show the plug with an O-ring
• Raypak parts library name: Kit-Drain Plug 185-405, 206-406 207-407
• For polymer headers only. ASME heaters with metal headers have a drain valve and a rear drain plug and cover (005264F) instead

📌 Good to know:

• Raypak's current 206A to 406A manual (2026) lists a new drain plug kit, 100-10008775, in place of 006721F, and changed the return header kit number in the same revision. On a heater with the newer return header, go by the drain plug number in that heater's own manual.

Check your heater's model and serial number before ordering.
