This kit is the drain plug for the polymer water headers on Raypak gas heaters: a gray 1/4 in. plug with its O-ring. It is the plug Raypak's winterizing instructions have you open on the return header to let the water out of the heat exchanger before freezing weather. Raypak's current 206A to 406A manual (2026) lists this kit where earlier manuals listed drain plug 006721F.

• Raypak 206A, 266A, 336A and 406A heaters with polymer headers (residential models), per Raypak's 2026 manual
• Raypak Avia 264A and 404A heaters that have header drain plugs, per Raypak's drain plug service instructions of June 2026 (the current Avia manual no longer shows a drain plug)

• Kit contents: one gray 1/4 in. drain plug and one O-ring
• Listed in place of drain plug kit 006721F in Raypak's 206A to 406A manual, Rev. 50 (2026)
• The earlier kit 006721F has a black 1/4 in. drain plug with an O-ring; Raypak's service instructions cover both kits
• Raypak's service instructions describe the kit for the drain plugs in the inlet/outlet header and the return header
• For polymer headers only. ASME heaters with metal headers have a drain valve (013793F) and a rear drain plug and cover (005264F) instead

📌 Good to know:

• Raypak's current manuals for the 207A to 407A and the 106A and 156A still list drain plug 006721F. Go by the drain plug number in your heater's own manual.
