Raypak 017995F Copper Heat Exchanger Assembly for 266A and 267A Heaters
Part # 017995F | Genuine Raypak replacement part | For polymer-header 266A and 267A heaters built from October 2019
This is Raypak's copper heat exchanger assembly for the 266A and the Low NOx 267A in their residential form, the heaters with polymer headers. The heat exchanger is the fin tube section above the burners where the pool water picks up heat. This part number is for heaters built from October 2019; earlier heaters take a different assembly.
✅ Fits these Raypak models:
- 266A digital atmospheric heater with polymer headers and a copper heat exchanger (model numbers ending in C), built from October 2019. Raypak's 2019 parts list and 2023 manual group the 266 with the 266A
- 267A digital Low NOx heater with polymer headers and a copper heat exchanger, built from October 2019
- Not for 266A heaters built before October 2019, which take Raypak 010044F
- Not for cupronickel heaters (model numbers ending in X), which take 017999F, or for ASME heaters with metal headers
- Other sizes have their own assemblies: 017994F (206A/207A), 017996F (336A/337A) and 017997F (406A/407A)
🔧 Details:
- Raypak part name: Heat Exchanger Assy Copper, units manufactured from 10/2019 (callout 1-HP)
- Fin tube material: copper
- For Raypak's polymer-header heat exchanger, the residential design
- Raypak lists the copper tube bundle on its own as 010060F
📌 Good to know:
- Raypak's parts list warns that copper and cupronickel heat exchangers are not interchangeable: a heater with suffix C must get copper parts and a heater with suffix X must get cupronickel parts.
- Confirm the heater's build date before ordering. October 2019 is the dividing line between this assembly and the earlier 010044F.
- Raypak's removal procedure for the heat exchanger starts with shutting off water, gas and electricity and takes off the jacket top and flue collector. It is work for a qualified technician.
Check your heater's model and serial number before ordering.
